Technological Base
Wall Thickness
Wall thickness is the distance between two opposite surfaces enclosing the same space. Jewelry models should not have walls thinner than 0.6mm, and frequently worn pieces should be thicker.
Wire Thickness
A wire is a feature whose height or depth is more than twice its width. Wires should be at least 0.8mm thick; free-standing wires should be at least 1.0mm.
Details
Raised or recessed details that are too small may disappear during printing, casting, polishing, or plating. Leave enough height, width, and depth for manufacturing.
Escape Holes
Hollow models need escape holes so plaster can drain during casting. A single hole should be larger than 4mm; two opposite holes should each be larger than 2mm.
Clearance
The clearance between two model parts should be at least 0.3mm. Gaps that are too small can disappear or break during casting.
Nesting and Hinges
Nesting, hinge, and interlocking structures are not currently supported.
